Come join the students of Alton Hall Elementary in the Alton Hall 2-Mile Fun Run on Friday, May 5 @ 6:00pm. You can run/walk with or without a timing bib. This is a casual run down Hall Road and back to the school as a celebration for the students eclipsing over 25,000 miles that we ran during our Mileage Club this year!
This will be the 2nd year for the Alton Hall 2-Mile Fun Run.
Every Monday, the children crowd around the office windows at the postings of how many miles they had run the previous week. They look to see if they earned a new "Toe Token" to wear proudly on their shoestrings, necklace, or bracelet. With the effort that the children have given, we just couldn't stop the program without a grand finale. So, the Alton Hall 2-Mile Fun Run was born. The children and staff are so excited. We hope that the community, families, and students all sign up to be part of our annual event.
